Ever since we saw Miles Morales for the first time in action, we were in for more such interdimensional adventures. Recently released film, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-verse movie has not only met but exceeded everyone’s Expectations. The film truly delivered on all fronts with a storyline that weaves a compelling narrative seamlessly blending multiple dimensions and introducing audiences to a diverse array of Spider-Man characters. the vibrant colors, art style and the action (Ofcourse) will blow your mind. If you have not watched this movie yet, there is a lot that you are missing. Yes, the movie features some really cool stuff straight outta comics and Shubham Gill has voiced the Indian Spider man in the movie but the most amazing thing about the film is how it sets a new standard for what superhero movies can be. We don’t have to even emphasize the fact that it’s a must watch for everyone.
There are a lot of things that can get you even more excited for the movie!
Spider-verse now has canon ties with the MCU universe. In one of the trailers, we see how Isaac’s Miguel O’Hara angrily showed his frustration with the statement, “Don’t even get me started on Dr. Strange and that little nerd back on Earth-19999.” In the MCU universe, the earth is referred to as Earth-19999. Even if it’s a small detail, Issac might be making this statement while referring to the multiverse imbalance that Peter Parker caused in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
The first spider-verse movie left an impact on everyone who watched it and this time they made everything better and bolder. The movie features a volume of comic book characters which is impressive on its own. According to producers, over 1000 animators were put to work to create a kaleidoscopic amalgamation of vibrant colors and art styles which makes this movie even more appealing to watch.
Jessica Drew who is a former Hydra spy gifted with Spidey powers also makes her big screen debut in the new movie. The character is voiced by Issa Rae and her incredible vocal talents added more weight to Jessica’s character.
Phil Lord and Christopher Miller are among the writers who worked on the film. The pair is famously known for writing some really good animated adventures like Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and The Lego Movie.
The Spider-man of 2099 is among the most interesting characters that have been introduced in the film. This new web-slinger goes by the name of Miguel O’Hara who is voiced by Oscar Isaac who is also famously known for his appearance in Star Wars and Moon Knight.
